Lo Dorman (Sleeping Water), a half-Indian outcast, lives in the forest and makes his home in a hollow tree, until two disparate women come into his solitary life: the pastor’s flirtatious daughter Nellie, and Teresa, a young Mexican woman who stabs two people, and finds refuge in his house.
