Ratings & Reviews

  1. João R's rating of the film The Hills Run Red

A bloody mess of a slasher that, underneath all its deranged shell, had potential (starting with the reveals at the end and ending with Babyface) to be greater and improvement. A blending of many horror elements that ends up being predictable and foolish.

  2. Evan Schafer's rating of the film The Hills Run Red

From a strict screenwriting standpoint, I found "The Hills Run Red" to be a very smart, multi-layered meta-horror flick that sharply blurs the line between what we assume is a journey based on fiction for the lead characters, learning soon that the "movie within the movie" is what we're actually watching unfold onscreen. It may take a watch or two to notice the onion-esque peeling of these layers, but it's worth it.
