What are people saying?

  • Richmond Hill's rating of the film The Insurance Man

A far-too large scale extrapolation of something that would be better suited to a locked room. One leaves this only remembering big blue-filtered setups but no word of dialogue or even a scene. This dates from around the time when TV, certainly in Britain, started to ape cinema abandoning studio video for celluloid. Whilst visually impressive, this move effectively killed the intimate crackle & fizz of live dialogue.
