Basically a more benevolent rehash of the first film, but what really sells it is that Vincent Price is the man who becomes invisible. His playful nature makes it all float along until the inevitable conclusion.
watching a black-and-white movie always makes me want to rate higher than i otherwise would. i paced myself for this one, but still, if it were of a more recent date, i'd give it two stars. not much to see here except for, of course, vincent price in his first horror-film role. i should add that i'm not a fan of invisibility themes in general which might make me partial while rating as well.
