    An interesting televisual play that follows a young train enthusiast as he spends the weekend ferrying through a number of interesting and eccentric characters. This is very early Alan Clarke and one sees just how experimental and radical he was from the off, at least this was so back in '69. His trademark close camera works well and the actors, often overplayed are all superb and appear natural through Clarke's hand
