The Money Complex Directed by Juan Rodrigáñez

What are people saying?

  • Matthew Martens's rating of the film The Money Complex

Rodrigáñez' handling of symbolism may be a bit wobbly--a caveat that applies to much of the rest of this still swoon of a film as well--but the parallels he draws between sex, meat and markets are plausible and ample. Scavenging over a leisure-scape pitted with gold-mining, geld-thieving, partner-snatching and penny-parsing, this vulture strips its true carrion, Reventlow’s novel, pretty bare--then takes to the air.
