A petty crook, in search of the proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, hopes to cash in by befriending the heir to a huge fortune.
Might not be Jodorowsky's best, but still something to enjoy and better than the average. Visually stunning in parts and Omar Sharif is great fun to watch as this weird character.
Doesn't have the zany Jodorowsky punch of El Topo, Holy Mountain, Dance of Reality, or his newest film, but it often looks pretty. Peter O'Toole is a bore tho
The occasionally great production design and some hilarious scenes (especially the opening with Cristopher Lee) does not save this from being a completely useless film.
I quite enjoyed the absurd and the silly this picture deals with, though I'm used to the Holy mountain/El topo style. Btw, interesting cast.

It's obvious that Jodorowsky didn't write this one.
***The last film that I have watched in 2015.
