What are people saying?

  • José Neves's rating of the film The Sensuous Three

A Kammerspiel with the UFA aesthetic and a cinematography evocative of Agfacolor deliriums, through a bold dramaturgy. Looks like an usual critical recipe, but in fact, this film by Ackeren is a summary of all this, done by one of the most brilliant German filmmakers of the 70's. It was premiered in Lisboa, in the mid 70's,obviously with no success: to ironic, outrageous and self conscious for the new porn crowd.
