Critics reviews

With as many characters and subplots as Battles Without Honor and Humanity, Shogun’s Samurai was effectively a jitsuroku Gangster movie in period clothing, featuring as many alliances, betrayals, assassinations, and intrigues as the most complex yakuza film.
