  • SpacePirate's rating of the film The Stooge

I like the attempt to blend comedy and drama, but the M&L films are hit and miss with me. I tend to prefer ones directed by Tashlin, and Lewis' solo output in general. Maybe you had to be there to appreciate it, to me, its of a poor man's version of a lot of comedy teams from the vaudeville days. This one is better than some other early M&L fare, so it gets a pass. A good starter film to see if you like their shtick.
