What are people saying?

  • J. O.'s rating of the film The Traveling Executioner

Truthfully, this obscure and truly bizarre film has a bit of an identity crisis - tonally it is lighthearted and near romantic, but the story has dark Western themes. The music is simple, almost reminiscent of The Littlest Hobo theme. In any case, the performances were strange and absorbing. Keach is like a campy McConaughey, who ultimately meets a poetically tragic end - the finest moment, by far.
