What are people saying?

  • dionysus67's rating of the film The Wedding

This film's single 'accomplishment' is to imitate the pathetic condition of organizers and guests of a middle-class (with nouveaux riches pretensions) wedding. Totally uncinematic and suitable for TV audiences only, this satire of Polish society not only culminates in facile romanticism but revels in the scatological proceedings, portraying human beings in the worst possible way. Unwatchable and repulsive.
