Our take

Set amid a glittery wedding in ‘80s Saudi Arabia, this feminist short by the pathbreaking director Haifaa Al Mansour (Wadjda) offers a stunning peek into the realm of women: both worlds away from the male gaze yet mirroring the dynamics of Saudi society. Part of Miu Miu’s Women’s Tales series.
