Just about every person in the neighborhood eventually wants someone dead, even a dull, panic-prone dentist named Oz Ozeransky, who is married to monstrous Sophie and lives next door to mobster-on-the-run Jimmy “The Tulip” Tudeski.

A great little comedy that supringly is carried by Matt Perry’s affable performance. He nails the physical comedy. And it’s sweet and hilarious. Lynn is a great great comedy director and this shows why. Could be Ho hum material but he picks the right actors and fits them into the script. It’s refreshing to watch 90s comedies and see the funny written word instead on improv for 90 minutes.
This is a quiet gem. 3.5/5 stars. It's a fresh take on the genre, and well casted. I think The Whole Ten Yards really let the gas out of the The Whole... balloon so much so that this retroactively took the hit.
