Sam Rockwell is fun to watch working with girls. His film with the then very young Mischa Barton is a great example (Lawn Dogs). Watching him work with high school girls (Emma Roberts, Rooney Mara) shoot hoops is a delight. It's a fun and laidback story with a good script. It's perfect for de-stressing on a regular day. The best thing is watching the girls play basketball, the girly way. Lotsa laughs.
Much better than expected, 'cos it was well written and all of the actors were really charming. Of course, the movie would be nothing without Rockwell, who's always entertaining, regardless of the script or director.
