  • dionysus67's rating of the film The Wretches Are Still Singing

The director of the explosively original "Sweet Bunch" tackles the problematic of system implosion with this absurdist denial of 'values' in line with the mood of a Ferreri movie. Alas! Despite some admittedly nice shots and bitterly funny duos, the absurdist imbroglio of the disconnected characters render this an almost unwatchable venture leading to detachment. Thankfully, its many flaws were fixed 4 years later.
