The most plotless of all the Oscar-nominated short films, as well as the most minimalist, Timecode unfortunately presents us with an undercooked premise as well as redundant scenes that do not take us anywhere special nor compelling in the brief time it has to work with.
Actually pretty wonderful. A brief and endearing capture of those sweetly tentative and always unspoken little games through which, every once in a while, we find ourselves connecting with another human. Left me heartwarmed and wistful. 2.75
