Director Jean-Luc Godard plans a feature adaptation of Charles Plisnier’s 1937 novel Faux Passports. Godard narrates the film’s trailer as he compiles a complex collage of history, politics, and cinema constructed of paper and glue, paintings and postcards, Shostakovich and silence.

The first Jean-Luc Godard project to be released after his death is a gift to all cinephiles. Created in collaboration with film theorist Nicole Brenez, this collage of paintings, pictures, written notes, and JLG’s unmistakable narration shows the master at work, his ingenuity as inspiring as ever.
