In the near future, after an unspecified holocaust, survivors are herded into prison camps. There, they are hunted for sport by the leaders of the camp. Paul, one of the newest prisoners, is determined not to go down as quietly as the others.

All of us now and then taken in by the dubious pleasures of cheap and sleazy cinema are aware that dumb fun doesn't always have to be dumb. TURKEY SHOOT is an interesting case study: it is a film made in damage-control-mode after a significant amount of the prospective budget was withdrawn at the last moment. The result: less stunts, more goofy splatter. It's ultimately about how the weirdos redeem the culture.
