What are people saying?

  • José Neves's rating of the film Turumba

Wonderful Tahimik, again the feel of a film that runs how life's supposed to, and this time in relation to one of the most terrible models of the world economy, the capitalist exploitation of a strong economy in relation to a miserable one, Germany in relation to the Philippines. This in a film that never turns off its documentary dimension even when it is, and nearly always is, unabashedly, immeasurably, skilful.

  • Algitya's rating of the film Turumba

When a cheers hurts. Another well-crafted gem from Tahimik on depicting the imbalances of modern life & the nasty attitude of capitalism. Still, without showing the messages blatantly.
