A wonderful film maybe not up to Dead man shoes, A room for romeo brass or This is England. Yet still Probably Meadows most arty film (no wonder it won award in Venice) with a great performance from Bob Hoskins. Rather overlooked now but was Critical acclaimed when it first came out compared to Romeo brass.
