During WWII in occupied France, the Nazis turn a spa hotel into an internment camp for Englishwomen, including nun Rosemary, writer Freda, Bridie, Muriel, Clairen and Maud. Soon, the ladies are hiding Royal Air Force pilots Jimmy and Alec.
