Thomas Arslan’s acclaimed In the Shadows adapted the heist flick to late-capitalist Berlin, and this follow-up watches the sun set on old forms of felony. Beneath slick, petroleum-black surfaces of crime, art thieves fight against diminishing returns of modern labor in this smoldering, clever film.
