Beautiful, interesting, incredible cinema.
Simon, a former policeman, is resentfully put in a retirement home. There, he becomes friends with another resident, the joyful Alfred who previously owned the place. But Alfred dies in mysterious circumstances. Convinced he has been murdered, Simon decides to investigate.
Retirement is anything but boring in Romuald Beugnon’s hilarious whodunnit, which doubles as a who’s who of French cinema royalty. Reunited onscreen for the last time, iconic 1960s charmers Jean-Claude Brialy and Jean-Pierre Cassel prove that, like fine wine, actors only get better with age.
