3.3 stars. Always gave me a bit of a funny feeling in my stomach as a kid due perhaps to the minor peril being elevated to the truly homicidal (while, simultaneously, the tone being broader, perhaps sillier). Still, the lab is a thoroughly convincing space and the character design for Preston is marvellously gnashing. I do think it is a "cut below" 'The Wrong Trousers' though.
Mixed an ill-fated romance (cheese-allergy being a deal-breaker) and a Terminator-inspired canine make for a good Wallace and Gromit short but it doesn't beat The Wrong Trousers. An added bonus is the introduction of Shaun the Sheep!
