Synopsis

Jim Henson’s son, Brian, watches objects with wheels. He observes vehicles on the street and plays with his wheeled toys, expanding his understanding of how things work.

Our take

Jim Henson’s infant son Brian plays with his toy car, as images of wheeled vehicles are superimposed with dreamlike wonder. Featuring a score by electronic music pioneer Raymond Scott, Wheels That Go is a homemade experiment that expressively captures the potency of a young imagination.
