Marjoe didn't make a lot of good films. Of all the films I've watched with him, and there's quite a few, this is probably the best. It was based on an own Off-Broadway play written by Mark Medoff. Marjoe's role is to be an agent of chaos. He holds people hostage in a diner and shakes them out of their complacency. He's not very nice, but you know how difficult it is to shake people.
