  • waywardwaters's rating of the film Whistling in Kotan

In a contemptible age of SJWs and Cultural Marxist AIDS, here is an obscure and sincere cinematic offering, singing the elegy for REAL racial discrimination and the actual empathy for perseverance therefrom. A lumbering weight of desolation haunts throughout, and since this is Naruse, the fates of the Hatanakas are sealed but what really resounds the master’s corpus thema after all is the outcome of that last act.
