Our take

Drenched in the sweltering summer heat, Christophe Ali and Nicolas Bonilauri’s coming-of-age tale is a heady brew of existential ennui. Starring the inimitable Denis Lavant, the film treads the treacherous ground of forbidden desires where lost souls cling to one another in defiance of social mores.
