a water colour of one relationship shot in a beautiful way even though employing all the 'indispensable' topoi of the genre, i.e., cruising, middle class perverts, family's (non)acceptance etc (but i guess, this movie was among the ones that established this canon). it also deals with eastern europeans in a more informed ways than many other films, though still with a couple of glitches.
