Aboard a cruiser that coasts through Southern Latin America, a sailor discovers a hallway mysteriously leading to an apartment in Montevideo. Thousands kilometers away, a group of Filipino peasants find an abandoned shed on a hill, assigning it supernatural powers.

Inspired by Alex Piperno’s three-hour ferry rides from Montevideo to Buenos Aires as a student, this surreal and poetic debut interweaves simultaneous tales into a dreamlike labyrinth. The minimal dialogue and the stillness of intricate compositions creates a meditative rhythm to sink into.
