After waking from an operation, Ziba wanders through a dense forest. As she walks, rests, and listens to the world around her, an unseen presence seems to follow her every movement. Increasingly unsettled, Ziba searches for a way out of what, increasingly, feels like a dream.

The cinematic image becomes a site of unease in this lingeringly haunting short from director Ali Farkhonde. Enfolding its protagonist in a disquieting labyrinth, Ziba leans into the weirdness of being watched, and stalks the spectral nature of film itself.
