“With a character like this, you are going to offend some people, you are going to ruffle some feathers and I can only do my best to tell this one story. You just hope that it encourages other creators that there is a market and that people want to see characters that don’t fit in a certain box and are considered untraditional. I just hope that she doesn’t remain the only exception to the rule.”
