After years of living in Canada, Maria returns to Serbia to visit her grandmother, Lela, who now resides in a nursing home. Initially overjoyed with her grandmothers excitement to see her, Maria soon realizes that Lela believes she is actually ‘Manuela’, a character from her favorite soap opera.
