Coming of age (part 2)

My biggest list to date, containing all the coming of age movies i could come up with, from every corner of the world, symbolicly beginning at my own birthdate till now…

I absolutely love the genre and, if possible, always choose quit a few in my program when i’m gonna go to a festival or have a marathon with friends. Can’t really explain what’s the magic behind it, and, aged 28 myself, still makes it fun seeing adolescent or young adult struggle with problems i, for a big part, outgrown for a long time. There are, for some reasons, always people looking down on them, as if their problems doesn’t count...
