JAPANESE HORROR

japanese horror movies or movies with strong elements of horror, whether they’re more psychological, sci-fi, pinku eiga, exploitation, etc.

that I know of, all of these are available to watch in some form today, except one (the first on the list from 1938) has only been shown in screenings on a few occasions.

I haven’t seen every movie here, I made this as a sort of watchlist, especially for the older ones which I’m most interested in right now. if you feel like a movie doesn’t belong, let me know!

recommendations are very welcome, especially if you submit any to the database (there are lots from the 1990s – present missing on here.)
