On his way to a meeting with a publisher, aspiring novelist Sam Wexler finds Rasheen, a young boy separated from his family on the subway. When the quiet Rasheen refuses to be left alone with social services, Sam impulsively agrees to let the boy stay with him for a couple of days.

Better known for his role in the CBS sitcom How I Met your Mother, here is Josh Radnor’s impressive directorial debut. With a superb cast including Melis Akerman, Zoe Kazan, and Kate Mara, this refreshing romantic comedy brings together distinct stories in pleasing harmony. A winner at Sundance!
