[Taipei Film Commission on Lin Jing-Jie]: Lin Jing-Jie came from a labor family in Kaohsiung and understands how the talented, hardworking people of the lower social classes may be trapped in the social structure all their lives, unable to change their circumstances. His understanding and sympathy compel him to tell their stories.
