Nuri Bilge Ceylan is back with a new film about family, identity, dreams and ambitions. Even though this gorgeous looking cinematic poem is a very rewarding viewing, it is a bit overlong at 188 minutes. There are just whole scenes that could have been cut out. That being said, the father/son relationship is really interesting. Plus the protagonist is so negative, arrogant and condescending that it hurts. 3.5 stars.
