80's K7 value's

I’ve always thought that movie reflects our times and some movies represent it very clearly. I was born in the late 80’s when the K7 distribution in Belgium was very influenced by American movies. I love what is paradoxical with a bit of thoughtlessness but treating dark topics. Adding Cynism and an aesthetic of disillusion that reflects these golden ages, whereas people could afford to have a great time. What an eclectic life!

I still find it hard to understand what were the values of that time. Maybe you can help me…
