ANTI-DISNEY

Dis fans (including yours truly), take caution.

“Comic Book Confidential” (one of my fav docs) is included on this list due to the appearance of Dan O’Neill, creator of the countercultural Mickey Mouse spoof Air Pirates Funnies (who also appeared on “RIP: A Remix Manifesto”).

Not on this list but should be: a 1934 Japanese cartoon featuring Mickey destroying the country, one Nazi propaganda short with Mickey, Donald, Popeye and Felix on airplanes (very anti-Semitic, unlike Walt)

Not included: Ralph Bakshi, UPA, Looney Tunes, Fleischer Bros, Tex Avery, Tom & Jerry, Don Hertzfeldt and...
