Depressingly Beautiful

Sometimes moments are so beautiful, they are depressing. What’s up with that? I don’t know, but I love it. It’s not really depressing, but that is the closest I can get to describing it simply. Sometimes depressing things are so sad that they are beautiful, and not depressing anymore. These rare moments occur in art, poetry, music, and of course film. Here’s a short list(so far) of movies containing such moments. I’d love to make it longer, so please let me know your recommendations.
