Probably, the best years of cinema’s life. Before sound (and few were the ones who used sound as a material composition as image), visual possibilities were taken to its extremes and superior values. Never again Cinema was with a capital C as in this period. Narratives, documentaries, journals, jokes, essays, were practically a world viewed, that that directors masterminds and point of views made possible. And impossible.
