FAVS OF 2012

Since I am far from a cahiers du film critic or even a film blogger, I am not going to pretend to make a prolific and meaningful films of 2012 top ten list. So these are my favorite films, that I have seen this year ie. mostly event films, summer blockbusters, and films from my favorite directors were what I went out to see. (is my filmgoing sensiblity becoming more mainstream or am I simply streamlining my selections more and more each year?)

Movies I wanted to see this year but didn’t: Life of Pi, Zero Dark Thirty, Cloud Atlas, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Silver Linings Playbook.
