John Waters Highlights
-John Waters just came to L.A. for a Q&A on 5/4/11. I paid an arm & a leg, but it was great to see him live.
-In February, 2011, he was my personal project of the month, and I tried to discover most of his films. However, some of his early shorts weren’t that available to me so I hope to keep an eye out in the future.
-In March, 2011, I visited Baltimore. I hoped to visit a bunch of John Waters related sites, but actually forgot (it was stupid, I know). But at the Q&A in May, he joked that 10 people get killed everytime they go to one of the places he recommended, because they’re actually not safe to go. While I took his comment with a grain of salt, I felt a little bit better. Still, in the future, I think it would be good to visit Baltimore again in the future and explore the city.
