I was lying in the hospital after a motorcycle accident. Next to me a young boy of 17 recovering from a head injury that sort of reset his brain:
he did not recognize his mother, forgot everything about his job as an electrician, etc.
In the evenings we were watching movies: I sold the fictional material as documentaries to him. Slowly this turned into a helpful therapy for him.
For my taste he recovered way too quickly.
