Majid Majidi

The great Iranian director. Very talented and underrated. His films are deceptive in their simplicity, they are both emotionally powerful and visually stunning.
The Colour of Paradise is my personal favourite, no film has ever affected me so deeply. We need to get all his films listed on The Auteurs.
