Best of the Decade.

This list sadly lacks any documentaries as everyone worthwhile is not of this decade. I leaned towards films that, to me at least, have a certain sui generis, a bit of a forbear to the direction film can go (or has since gone). They’re not always the first, but the best of a sort of first wave.
