Pre Fellini

This is my ranked list of my personal favourite Fellini movies which came out before La Dolce Vita, the film which marked a pivot in his storytelling abilities from which he would never return. Before La Dolce Vita, each one of these films has a special quality to them. They are much smaller, and down to earth than his later films, and are all extraordinary in their own right. I recommend watching them in chronological order as you will notice a certain build up. I feel like La Dolce Vita and 8 1/2 were where he was inevitably trying to end up.
