my all time favorite filmmaker… as a kid watching Once upon a time in the West and the gorgeous crane shot as we tilt from the train station to view the stagecoach travelling through monument valley, at that point my curiosity and craving to understand how it was conceived, made me want to become a filmmaker myself.
